Code of Conduct for Junior Players & Members

Cambridge Junior Rugby and Community Sports Club (CJRS) are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members. CJRS believes that it is important that all members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the Club should at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

As a member of CJRS you are expected to abide by the following Junior Code of Conduct;
- All members must play within the rules and respect the decisions of coaches and officials.
- All members must respect the rights, self respect and worth of all participants regardless of gender (girl or boy), ability, culture or religious beliefs.
- Bullying either physical or verbal will not be tolerated at CJRS and may lead to disciplinary action.
- Members should also keep to agreed times for trainings and competition or in good time, inform their coach or team manager if they are going to be late.
- Members must wear suitable kit, for training and match sessions, as agreed with the Club, coach and manager.
- Members must pay fees promptly.
- Junior members are expected to conduct themselves with pride, courtesy and respect for others whilst representing the Club.

Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself.
Players should work to develop a team/club environment which encourages all players to support, value and help each other, both within the individual teams and within the Club.
